Bankside Hotel, Autograph Collection

Our compliments to the Bankside staff, whose assistance happened prior to our arrival. Once there, we received a warm welcome and a nice description of the property, amenities, services, and benefits. Whether at reception or in the Art Yard, service met, and often exceeded, expectations. The "missing" star comes from two substantial overcharges (more than 1000 GBP each) to our account. While subsequently removed when brought to the hotel's attention, reception knew we pre-paid our rooms. No explanation as to why these charges occurred. The hotel decor is wonderfullly chic and the art gallery an elegant feature. The room is amply sized with nice amenities, such as robes and slippers, plush towels, dual showerheads, and a Nespresso machine. Complementary water is available in the hallway as is a funky vending machine. The bedding is comfortable and the room dark, quiet, and peaceful at night. Note that trash collection happens Tuesday early mornings and is noticably loud, but brief. Breakfast was delicious as was our lone dinner. The Art Yard is worth a visit even if you stay elsewhere. While the Blackfriars station is a 5-6 minute walk, as is the Tate Museum, the Bankside hotel is not close to major attractions. While you will find a mini market and pharmacy in the adjacent block, there is not much else nearby. Nevertheless, the Bankside hotel is a wonderful place to stay.

Bankside Hotel was a wonderful place to stay. The hotel is very clean, beautifully decorated, and feels thoughtfully designed throughout. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also really appreciated the water dispensers and jugs in the hallway — a small detail, but such a practical and sustainable touch. Overall, a comfortable, stylish stay and a hotel I’d happily return to.

There’s a reason this hotel is so highly rated, everything was top notch! The rooms were upscale and beautifully designed with incredible attention to detail. They were comfortable and thoughtfully equipped. I loved the automatic shades and the in-room espresso bar. The lobby was extraordinary. It was comfortable yet high-end and the food and service felt more like an upscale café than a typical hotel restaurant. It was the perfect atmosphere for relaxing and also working on the road. The location couldn’t have been better with easy access to all the top spots in London. I can’t recommend this hotel enough!

Our stay at Bankside Hotel was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. What truly sets this hotel apart is the people — every interaction felt genuine, thoughtful, and full of care. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. Sebastian at the front desk greeted us with such warmth and professionalism. He even went out of his way to personally bring our welcome drinks to our room when the bar was busy — a small gesture that spoke volumes about the level of service here. Throughout our stay, the entire team was attentive and kind. Breakfast each morning was a highlight — beautifully organised, delicious, and relaxed. Yana and Anastasia made us feel completely at home, greeting us with warmth and genuine conversation that made our mornings feel special rather than routine. We were also so grateful to Katerina, who helped coordinate our stay in advance. Her thoughtful communication and attention to detail — including arranging a lovely birthday surprise — truly elevated the experience and made us feel incredibly well cared for. Between the exceptional service, the elegant and comfortable rooms, and the unbeatable location, Bankside Hotel has quickly become our favourite place to stay in London. We can’t wait to return.

Stayed here while on vacation during Christmas last week. It's has everything one looks for in a modern boutique hotel. Well appointed rooms with lots of usb ports, comfortable bedding, modern bathroom, and even a dyson hairdryer. Very friendly and attentive housekeeping when needed. Restaurant food quality was consistently good as were the bar cocktails with great service for both, SPECIAL recognition for Waleed. Front desk staff were superb with SPECIAL recognition for Richard and Phillip. Hope to stay here again on a future visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Bankside Hotel in London. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a very modern and stylish aesthetic that still feels warm and welcoming. The rooms and common areas are impeccably clean and very well maintained, which made the stay even more comfortable. What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention to the team who were working on Saturday and Sunday — they were outstanding. They were especially kind and thoughtful with our children, taking the time to interact with them and making them feel very welcome. For families, that level of warmth and attention makes a big difference. Thank you to the whole team for such a lovely experience. We would happily stay again and highly recommend the hotel.

Amazing stay at Bankside Hotel, Autograph Collection. My family and I stayed for a week at this hotel, and truly enjoyed our experience!! Leading up to our stay the communication was excellent, and they were very prompt to responding to all requests. Following check in from all of the team, to the food, room size, location, everything exceeded expectations and would definitely recommend to all looking for a place to stay in London, look no further this is your place!! Many thanks to all the team and staff, special mention to the manager Philip who assisted me with a discrepancy at check out, and I was very happy with his efforts to rectify and resolve.

Just had a two night stay here and it was a great experience. The whole staff is very friendly and on point. There are many great and helpful workers but I remembered the name of one, Mustafa. He and the team are great. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay there. It's in a great location as well. I would definitely come back here. There's a cool art vibe as well.
